Case Law No.66/2023/AL regarding the determination of the crime of “Human trafficking”
Legal situation: The defendant committed acts of deception, promising benefits to the victim, causing the victim to trust and voluntarily follow the defendant abroad, after which the defendant handed the victim over to another person to receive money.
Legal resolution: In this case, the Court must determine that the defendant’s crime is “Human Trafficking” and not the crime of “Organizing illegal emigration”.
